Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Food Service I for Barrhead Continuing Care to perform routine food preparation tasks, portioning and packaging, and serving meals to patients and customers. You will maintain clean and sanitary work areas and follow established guidelines and menus.

This regular part-time role involves assisting with meal service, ensuring safety and hygiene, and rotating shifts within a 4-week cycle (Days/Evens/Weekends) with a 0.58 FTE commitment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Physically capable to lift food, supplies and equipment up to 46lbs.
• Must be able to push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs.
