Job summary

Neptune Fresh Produce Inc. in Richmond, BC seeks a full-time Account Manager to support customer retention, growth, and outside sales development. You will communicate with customers, manage accounts, search prospects, and assist outside reps with qualified opportunities.

This is a consultative role, not order-taking. Compensation ranges with experience and includes commission. Based in British Columbia, you will collaborate with Purchasing, Transportation, QA, Customer Service, and Outside

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is an asset.
• Food service/industry knowledge is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle and ability to travel as required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong written, verbal, organizational and communication skills with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strategic thinker capable of building relationships and achieving goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with assigned accounts.
• Support customers with order entry, product recommendations and market updates.
• Identify sales declines and support account growth with outside reps.
• Upsell and promote bookings, social media photo usage, and market information.
• Research prospects, make outbound calls and set meetings.
• Manage and update the sales pipeline and lead development.
