Job summary

Fresh Direct Produce in Vancouver is seeking a Part-Time Field Sales Merchandiser to bridge between Buying & Sales teams and customers. You will merchandise Fresh Direct produce items, ensuring displays are attractive and replenished to optimize attraction and sales, working at the store level with customers and team members.

The ideal candidate is collaborative with strong communication skills and a solutions-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Reliable access to a vehicle.
• Minimum 1 year solid hands-on experience with fresh produce.
• Effective interpersonal and relationship-building is key.
• Able to lift a max of 30lbs.
• Effective business writing skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Following planograms, create visually appealing displays of diverse Fresh Direct produce items.
• Inspect incoming produce delivery for freshness, quality, and adherence to food safety standards, and proactively check inventory levels and place customer orders in a timely manner
• Assist customers with questions, provide information about products, and offer recommendations.
• Analyze sales data, trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth in the Produce department.
• Communicate and build relationships with customers andemployees to ensure we exceed the customer’s expectations.

We currently have a great opportunity where you will be a strategic partner bridging between our Buying & Sales teams and our customers. Working at the store level with our customers, you, as our Field Sales Merchandiser, will help merchandiseFresh Direct produce items, ensuring our products are displayed and replenished to optimize attraction and sales. • Following planograms, create visually appealing displays of diverse Fresh Direct produce items.
