Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $98,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality and Food Safety Manager to lead all quality assurance and food safety efforts. This role is critical to ensuring that company products meet or exceed all regulatory and customer requirements for quality and food safety, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC, AIB).
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other relevant food safety regulations.
• Lead internal audits and manage third-party and regulatory inspections.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, sanitation procedures, and quality documentation.
• Investigate non-conformances, consumer complaints, and product quality issues.
• Develop and deliver food safety and quality training to plant personnel.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, supply chain, R&D, and leadership teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in food quality and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety certification schemes (e.g., SQF, BRC, ISO 22000).
• Certification preferred: HACCP, PCQI, SQF Practitioner, or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in quality systems, audits, and regulatory compliance.
