Job summary

Royal Glenora Club in Edmonton is seeking energetic Food & Beverage team members for roles across cafés, dining areas, and service outlets. You will welcome members, take orders, and assist with beverage and food service in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Proserve certification is required for alcohol-serving positions, with shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, café, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset, but not required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Able to take direction, show initiative, and assist wherever needed.
• Basic understanding of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Proserve certification is required for positions that involve serving alcohol.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties including bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work a variety of consistent shifts, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with food and beverage service in cafés, dining areas, and other Club outlets.
• Take orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, beverages, and basic food items.
• Run food and beverages from the kitchen to service areas and assist with order accuracy.
• Support servers and other Food & Beverage team members during service.
• Set, clear, clean, and resettle tables and service areas.
• Stock and replenish food, beverages, supplies, and service stations.
• Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning duties as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work and service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and Club service standards.
• Work cooperatively with team members to provide an excellent Member experience.
• Perform other Food & Beverage duties as required based on operational needs.
• Demonstrate the RGC Core Values and Code of Conduct through professional, respectful, and ethical conduct.
