Job summary

Royal Glenora Club in Edmonton's river valley is seeking friendly, dependable Food & Beverage team members for a variety of roles, including Café Attendant, Serving Assistant, Food Runner/Expeditor, and Bartender. Placement will depend on experience, availability and needs.

You will welcome members, assist with service in cafés and outlets, take orders, handle POS, prepare beverages and light foods, and maintain clean, safe work areas while upholding club standards.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, café, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset, but not required.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Able to take direction, show initiative, and assist wherever needed.
• Basic understanding of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Proserve certification is required for positions that involve serving alcohol.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties including bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work a variety of consistent shifts, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with food and beverage service in cafés, dining areas, and other Club outlets.
• Take orders and process payments using the point-of-service system.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, beverages, and basic food items.
• Run food and beverages from the kitchen to service areas and ensure orders are accurate.
• Support servers and other Food & Beverage team members during service.
• Set, clear, clean, and reset tables and service areas.
• Stock and replenish food, beverages, supplies, and service stations.
• Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning duties as required.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work and service areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and Club service standards.
• Work cooperatively with team members to provide an excellent Member experience.
• Perform other Food & Beverage duties as required based on operational needs.
• Demonstrate core values and Code of Conduct through professional, respectful conduct.
