Job summary

Sunshine Village in Banff National Park seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations and lead a front-line team. You will train staff, manage Dayforce and POS systems, and ensure quality service, product standards, and safety protocols are followed.

The role requires coordinating staff schedules, reviewing labour and sales reports, and assisting with inventory while working across various resort venues as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering guest service in a hospitality setting.
• Ability to supervise and coach a team in a fast-paced outlet.
• Familiarity with safety and health standards in food & beverage environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the outlet, ensuring high-quality service and standards.
• Lead training, motivation, supervision, and evaluation of the team.
• Oversee and train staff in Dayforce, POS systems, cash-outs, product knowledge, health and safety procedures.
• Schedule staff and verify timecards in Dayforce.
• Be flexible to work across various Food & Beverage venues as needed.
• Review daily labour and sales to track performance and progress.
• Provide coaching and conduct performance evaluations for all team members.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and respond to guest concerns.
• Assist Manager with monthly inventory and other duties as assigned.

Food & Beverage Supervisors provide an outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the outlet by adopting a hand on approach for training, motivating, supervising, and evaluating their team. They ensure that quality service, product, and safety standards are consistently met.

Additional Considerations:

• Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.
• This position works at high altitude and at times, in inclement weather. Prolonged periods of standing, repetitive motions, bending and twisting is required.
• Some required uniform pieces are provided.
• Based on operational needs, this position may require working in various Food & Beverage venues across the resort.
