Job summary

Spirit Ridge Resort in Osoyoos, BC, seeks a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our outlets and enhance guest experiences.

The role oversees restaurant operations, supports the F&B Manager, and trains staff to maintain high standards of hospitality. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have BC Serving It Right or equivalent.
• Minimum two years Food and Beverage service or supervisory experience.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Able to multi-task and perform under pressure.
• Able to stand for long periods, and flexible to morning/evening/weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee servers in the restaurant and banquet areas to ensure guest care.
• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations.
• Ensure overall restaurant cleanliness and setup.
• Help establish and monitor side work; manage staffing needs.
• Be trained as Banquet Captain to supervise banquet functions.

What You Do

Our Food and Beverage Supervisoris the floor manager of our various food & beverage outlets at Spirit Ridge. Food and Beverage is a key factor to a great resort experience and in this role you would be at the core of making that happen. Your talents and experience will be utilized to complete the following tasks:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Demonstrate professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all times, including maintaining a high standard of professional appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Use your experience and attentive nature to assist the Food and Beverage Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations to elevate the guest experience.
• Ensure overall restaurant cleanliness and set up.
• Oversee servers in the restaurants and banquet area to ensure optimal appearance and exceptional guest care, watchful of guests' need for service.
• Help the manager establish and monitor side work.
• Ensure receipt and accurate flow of communications between shifts.
• Keep a pulse on and manage staffing needs.
• Be trained as a Banquet Captain to help supervise banquet functions in addition to your assigned dining outlet
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.

• Easy conversationalist
• Beer, Wine and Spirits knowledge with the ability to make recommendations an asset
• Must have your current BC “Serving it Right” or another Canadian provinces equivalent.
• An organized multi tasker who doesn’t crack under pressure
• Able to be on your feet all day
• A passion for guest service and providing a great guest experience
• A self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills to motivate, coach and train colleagues
• Minimum two years Food and Beverage service or supervisory experience.
• Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
