  • Provide visible, hands-on floor leadership during peak periods, leadership transitions, manager absences and other operational needs.
  • Ensure continuity of service, leadership presence and guest experience when outlet leadership coverage is required.
  • Develop and deliver structured onboarding and training programs for new F&B managers.
  • Ensure salaried leaders are trained consistently on operational systems, policies, procedures, service expectations and established standards.
  • Lead F&B orientation for leadership team members and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management of Assistant Managers and F&B Managers.

  • Partner with outlet leaders to improve labour productivity and ensure staffing levels align with business volumes, events and operational priorities.
  • Review operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Support budgeting, financial controls and profit and loss performance across the F&B operation.
  • Lead and coordinate menu engineering initiatives, including evaluation of new menu items, products, packages and operational requests.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operational leaders on menu development, beverage programming and new concept initiatives.
  • Support the rollout of new F&B applications, takeout programs and operational tools, including training and ongoing adoption.
  • Maintain consistent written and verbal communication with F&B teams and leadership across the operation.
  • Prepare operational updates, project reports and activity summaries for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong standards around service, food quality, cleanliness, presentation and overall guest experience.
  • Support the development and execution of promotions, activations and other revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and accountable workplace culture where leaders and front-line employees can perform at their best.
  • Encourage collaboration, team engagement and participation within the broader local community.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of senior-level food and beverage leadership experience within a complex, multi-outlet operation.
  • Experience managing or supporting an F&B business generating approximately $4 million or more in annual revenue.
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality, business or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant and beverage operations within a high-volume hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, profit and loss management, labour controls and financial performance.
  • Strong food, wine and beverage knowledge.
  • Sommelier certification or formal wine education is considered an asset.
  • Valid Alberta ProServe certification, or ability to obtain it.
  • Proven ability to develop managers, build strong teams and create accountability through coaching and leadership presence.
  • Comfortable stepping directly into operations and supporting teams during high-volume periods.
  • Strong organizational and project-management capabilities with the ability to balance multiple operational priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of leadership.
