Job summary

Canada’s Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario is hiring team members to provide guests with exceptional service in the park. The role offers an hourly wage of $17.95 plus tips, with an age minimum of 18 and eligibility to work 40 hours per week.

Job duties include serving beverages, enforcing department policies, ensuring food availability, and complying with health and liquor regulations. Perks include free admission to the park and discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have Smart Serve certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Strong guest service mindset and helpful attitude.
• Courteous with good judgment and commitment to service.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Passion for Canada’s Wonderland and guest experience.
• Availability for flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, late nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve alcoholic beverages to guests while providing exceptional guest service.
• Enforce all Department policies.
• Ensure all menu items and food supplies are available.
• Receive/store/prepare/hold and serve food in compliance with Ontario Health regulations, department specifications and the Liquor Control Board.
• Address guest questions and concerns regarding the location/park.
• Follow proper cleaning and sanitation practices for food and non-food contact surfaces and equipment.
• Operate equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Assist the food service associates and bussers with service, table clearing/setting, and cleaning on a regular basis.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
