Job summary

PaperWorks is looking for a skilled Die Cutting Operator to join their team in Kitchener, Ontario. This full-time, permanent role offers a starting pay rate of $27.50 per hour, along with health and dental benefits, disability benefits, and a group pension program.

Job description

PaperWorks is currently seeking a skilled Die Cutting Operator to work on a full‑time, permanent basis out of our facility at 120 Trillium Drive in Kitchener, Ontario.

We offer a competitive compensation package which includes health & dental benefits and disability benefits, as well as a group pension program. Starting hourly pay rate of $27.50, plus shift premiums and a discretionary bonus program. This job posting has one available position. No Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used at any stage of our recruitment process.

Responsibilities
  • Verify customer specifications for each product using computer system.
  • Follow and complete all work instructions for each job.
  • Check quality continually ensuring standards are met or exceeded. Perform quality checks prior to sending product downstream to the next work centre.
  • Operate a battery‑operated walkie to transport product within and between departments.
  • Conduct make readies within company targets.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain die cutting equipment as required.
  • Record production data as required (paperwork and on computer system).
  • Perform general housekeeping and other related duties as required.
  • Ensure safe and efficient set up and operation of the printing equipment.
  • Successful candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating large‑format, flatbed die cutting equipment.
  • Must be able to work a rotating continental shift schedule.
