Job summary

Canoco Energy Services is hiring a Zoom Boom Operator for a major turnaround project at the Horizon site. The role requires operating telehandlers safely, assisting with material handling, and supporting daily construction activities during the turnaround.

The candidate should have proven Zoom Boom experience in industrial settings, a valid Telehandler certification, and a Class 5 license. 12-hour shifts with a 12 on/2 off rotation are common, with camp accommodations and fly-in options from

Qualifications

• Operate Zoom Boom (Telehandler) safely per specs and site rules.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication on site.
• Maintain safety first mindset in all tasks.
• Perform pre-use inspections and report issues promptly.
• Possess valid Telehandler/Zoom Boom certification and Class 5 license.
• Carry required safety certifications (H2S Alive, CSTS/CSO, WHMIS 2015, Confined Space, Fall Protection).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Zoom Boom equipment to support material handling.
• Transport, load, unload, and position materials and tools on site.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report defects.
• Coordinate with supervision and trades to support turnaround activities.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow lift plans.
• Uphold Canoco safety standards and client-specific requirements.
