Job description

We are seeking Journeyman Mechanics for immediate hire to service HVAC systems on heavy equipment in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This position offers a 14 on & 14 off rotation with flights provided from anywhere in Canada (both to and returning flights). Company housing and a service truck are also provided. Red Seal Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or Truck & Trailer Technicians with HVAC experience are ideal candidates for these openings!

Compensation :

• Starting at $47.00 - $48.00 per hour.
• Tools and PPE provided.
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision, EAP, vacation pay, RRSP matching, and profit sharing.
• Flights to and from Fort McMurray from anywhere in Canada.
• Service truck and company housing included.

Duties :

• Install and service HVAC systems on heavy-duty off-road equipment. 12-hour shifts.
• Perform on-site work on customer equipment.
• Respond to service calls, repair components promptly, and maintain documentation for compliance and customer communication.
• Manage and maintain service vehicle inventory, proactively addressing customer needs and minimizing downtime.
• Crosstrain and support the inspection, service, and installation of vehicle fire suppression systems.

Requirements :

• Red Seal certification as Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or Truck & Trailer Technician.
• At least 2 years of experience maintaining HVAC systems.
• Good driving record.
• Clean background check.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests (including marijuana).
