Job summary

Motion Vaughan is seeking a Technical Services Specialist to provide on-site pre- and post-sales technical expertise to customers, promoting satisfaction and sales growth. The role requires working with fluid power systems and offering field support from the Vaughan branch.

Responsibilities include hydraulic calculations, 3D modelling, creating schematics, and developing test procedures. Travel is required to support service technicians and sales staff across Motion groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• 2–5 years of related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide fluid power technical support for staff and customers and Vaughan branch.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and design circuits to meet customer applications.
• Create hydraulic schematics and select components as required.
• 3D modelling of hydraulic systems and manifolds.
• Create test procedures and assist in testing custom fluid power packages.
• Produce engineering manuals; provide field service support as needed.
• Collaborate with Motion groups to deliver turnkey solutions.
