Job summary

COMEC Energy Services near Cold Lake, Alberta seeks Class 1 Operators for hydrovac, combo unit, water truck, vac truck and pressure truck. Position reports to Field Supervisor with a rotational schedule, weekend hours, and potential for longer shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating one or more of the unit types listed above.
• Valid Class 1 driver's license.
• Experience maintaining and performing pre-job inspections on the equipment being operated.
• Ability to complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Must actively participate in pre-job hazard assessments and adhere to company and client safety policies and procedures.
• Previous experience in SAGD environments and service rig work is considered an asset.
• Must pass pre-employment Alcohol & Drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac, combo unit, water truck, vac truck, or pressure truck.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Participate in pre-job hazard assessments.
• Must be willing to partake in ensuring procedures are accurate and are mimicking field work.
• Must have experience with well servicing, facility work and tank cleaning.
• Must possess valid CSO, H2S Alive, First Aid & TDG.
• Having tickets such as Confined Space, Fall Arrest & Ground Disturbance is an asset.
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts and hours.
• Clean driver’s abstract and pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Demonstration of ability to participate in all pre-job hazard assessments and inspections.

Fluid Haul Drivers Class 1 (West of Cold Lake, Alberta)

COMEC Energy is currently seeking highly motivated Class 1 Operators (hydrovac, combo unit, water truck, vac truck, and pressure truck). This is a Cold Lake area-based position reporting to the Field Supervisor, with work taking place on a rotational schedule. Weekend availability and longer hours are expected. Both local and out-of-town applicants are welcome to apply.
