Job summary

CEDA is seeking Class 1 or 3 Driver/Operators for our Pressure & Vacuum division at Fort McMurray, AB. You will operate and maintain vacuum trucks and high-pressure water equipment, working outdoors and adapting to changing daily tasks.

We offer full-time work, competitive wages, benefits and a Northern Living Allowance. Travel and accommodation are not offered; shifts are 7x7 and 14x14 with overtime during turnaround seasons, emphasizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years.
• Driving manual transmissions (10, 13 or 18 speed) is required; must pass CEDA driver assessment.
• Prior experience driving a Vacuum Truck is an asset.
• 1+ years of operator experience in an industrial environment.
• CSO certification required.
• Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset but not required; training provided.
• Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Vacuum trucks, High Pressure Water equipment and related tools.
• 90% of the day spent outside of the truck; boots on the ground.
• Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour-intensive role.
• Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment.
• Ensure safety for all team members and property.
• Work as part of a team and follow supervision.
• Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions.
• Learn new skills daily by rigging in and out equipment.
• Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs.
• Stay detail-focused and ensure work is done right the first time, safely.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
