Job summary

CEDA International is seeking Class 1 Operators for our Pressure and Vac division at the Conklin, AB location. You will operate and maintain heavy equipment, ensure safety, and support a tight-knit team while learning new skills daily.

The role offers full-time work with benefits, accommodations, and growth opportunities in a dynamic environment. The position requires a Class 1 license, CSO and H2S Alive certifications, and a robust work ethic to perform physically demanding tasks and paperwork

Qualifications

• Class 1 license is required.
• CSO and H2S Alive certifications required at time of offer.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Clean driving record with minimal demerits.
• Experience with pressure and vacuum equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain combo, semi-vac, and pressure equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance and checks on equipment.
• Ensure safety for all team members and property.
• Provide quality services to clients.
• Work as part of a team and follow supervision.
• Learn new skills daily by rigging specialty equipment.
• Leave job site clean, safe, and completed.
• Haul hoses, PPE, and tools to work locations.
• Complete required paperwork for projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

CEDA is currently seeking Class 1 Operators for our Pressure and Vac division at our Conklin, AB location.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain combo, semi-vac, super B, tri-quad, pressure truck equipment and various specialty tools
• Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
• Ensure safety for all team members and property
• Provide quality services to our clients
• Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
• Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
• Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done.
• Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being done
• Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Class 1license
• Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 or 18 speed, doesn’t matter you will pass CEDA’s driver assessment with flying colours)
• Will Consider class 3 with experience on Pressure & Vacuum equipment
• 1+ years’ experience in an industrial environment on pressure and vacuum equipment is preferred
• CSO and H2S Alive certifications arerequired at time of offer
• Able to provide a drivers abstract with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3years
• This role may require working at heights and within confined spaces
• Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test, booked by CEDA
