Job summary

Country Grocer in Esquimalt is seeking a part-time Floral Clerk who is enthusiastic and customer-focused. You will assist customers with plant and flower selections, restock and rotate stock, and help maintain fresh bouquets.

The role offers a friendly team environment with weekly pay, discounts, and opportunities for growth. Ideal candidates have experience in garden centers or floral departments and a passion for plants.

Qualifications

• One year experience working in a garden center or floral department is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of both indoor and outdoor plant care is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is an asset.

• Provide customers with information needed to make flower and indoor/outdoor plant related decisions
• Receive stock, face and rotate products
• Ensure bouquets are fresh and full
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Perform other duties as required

Our Esquimalt location is looking to welcome a new Part-Time Floral Clerk to our team! Some of what you will do:

• Provide customers with information needed to make flower and indoor/outdoor plant related decisions
• Receive stock, face and rotate products
• Ensure bouquets are fresh and full
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Perform other duties as required

Schedule Requirements:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and week days
• Up to 24 hours per week

Pay:CA$18.25 – CA$22.00 per hour

Education and Experience:

• One year experience working in a garden center or floral department is considered an asset
• Knowledge of both indoor and outdoor plant care is preferred
• Previous customer service experience is an asset
