Job summary

Kent Building Supplies in New Brunswick is seeking a Flooring Associate to help customers understand their needs and choose the right flooring products.

As a sales-focused professional, you will engage customers, share product knowledge, prepare quotes and lists, and ensure safe, friendly service throughout day/evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork ability.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to work days/evening/weekends (rotating shifts).
• Ability to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D635) used to process orders.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset.

As a Flooring Associate, you will help customers to fully understand their needs and assist in selecting the right products for their requirements. As knowledgeable sales professionals, sales associates can make recommendations that solve customers' problems and enhance their shopping experience. Starting wage for this role is $16.15 per hour.
