Job Purpose

Oversee the daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer experiences, achieving sales goals, and providing real-time coaching to enhance the Burberry Experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise, assist, and motivate sales associates to deliver high-value customer experiences and act as a quality control supervisor ensuring memorable interactions.
  2. Partner with associates to improve selling skills and close sales to meet KPIs.
  3. Lead a high-performing, customer-focused team; coach and give feedback to ensure the Burberry Experience is delivered in line with brand standards.
  4. Manage customer flow to ensure optimal service and attention to every client.
  5. Foster collaboration among sales associates, specialists, stock associates, and operations.
  6. Provide immediate and post-transaction coaching, reviewing successes and areas for improvement.
  7. Develop and retain talent through recognition, rewards, and performance reviews.
  8. Lead by example in delivering the Burberry Experience.
  9. Collaborate with management on store training initiatives, reinforce standards through meetings and role-play.
  10. Set and communicate performance goals; deliver feedback via development plans.
  11. Handle difficult customer issues, escalating as needed.
  12. In the absence of management, process transactions, authorize discounts, and manage employee sales.
  13. Enhance the digital experience and utilize digital tools for communication.
  14. Maintain a thorough understanding of business needs and policies, enforcing guidelines consistently.
  15. Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including security and POS operations.
  16. Perform additional duties as required.
Personal Profile
  • Advanced knowledge of POS systems.
  • Experience with Apple mobile devices and digital tools.
  • 1-2 years supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
Measures of Success
  • Monthly Burberry Experience evaluation score.
  • Performance management and development of associates.
  • Improvement across retail KPIs.
