The successful candidate will learn and assist multiple roles, rotating through the separator, tray wash, and egg room while contributing to delivery and inventory tasks. The position requires lifting 40–50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working early shifts with occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Determine gender and quality of day-old chicks.

Shift Details: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 5:30AM start. Wednesday, 6AM start. End time variable based on production needs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our hatchery team across various departments. The successful applicant will be responsible for learning and supporting multiple roles within the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Determining gender and quality of day-old chicks
• Working full rotation in the separator area and tray wash areas
• Support in chick deliveries to farm operations
• Work with the sanitation team as needed
• Receiving duties including inventory management
• Working on the inovo transfer crew when needed (Embrex) Saturday’s included
• Working in egg room on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s when needed
• Other duties as assigned

What’s in it for you?

• $21.56 - $22.56 per hour (based on progression)
• All PPE is provided to employees (Boot Reimbursement of $125 after 3 months of service)
