Maple Leaf Foods is seeking a reliable individual for the Farm Labourer/Egg Gatherer role in Paisley, ON. The position involves egg gathering, quality checks, paperwork, and general farm duties during a two-week shift rotation. Training is provided; weekdays and weekends are required.

Join our team to contribute to safe, high‑quality egg production. Hours range between 6:00–6:30 AM start and 2:30–3:00 PM finish, with a two‑week rotation.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.

• Adhere to CHEQ, Biosecurity & Animal Welfare requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and sort eggs according to quality standards.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation across breeder farm.
• Completion of required paperwork.
• Maintain detailed logs of quality checks and production outputs.
• Checking barns and eggs.
• Ensure compliance with animal health and welfare protocols.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team. Egg Gatherers are responsible for egg gathering, ensuring quality of product, completion of required paperwork and supporting any other general farm duties that may arise during the scheduled shift. Key Responsibilities

What’s in it for you?
