Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is required.
• 3–5 years of experience with children 18 months–4 years, esp. vulnerable.
• Experience with diverse communities facing barriers.
• Valid First Aid/CPR and registration with the College of ECEs.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for core staff absences and assist in team functions.
• Deliver high‑quality, child‑centered care aligned with Ontario’s early learning framework.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curricula to foster emotional self‑regulation and social skills.
• Collaborate with RECEs, support staff, and external professionals to support vulnerable children.
• Support various team functions as needed.
