Job summary

Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre in Arnprior, Renfrew and Pembroke is seeking a permanent Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) for our Preschool Program, starting approx. September 15th.

The position is about 35-40 hours per week, with work days typically 7.5 to 8 hours long. Requirements include registration with the College of ECE, experience with young children, Standard First Aid / CPR C, and a current Vulnerable Sector criminal check.

Job description

Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre is a licensed, non-profit child care centre with 3 locations in Arnprior Renfrew, and Pembroke. The Renfrew location is based out of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School. We offer Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten and School Aged Programs.

We require 1 Permanent RECE for our Preschool Program beginning approx. September 15th, working approx. 35-40 hours per week, working 7.5 to 8 hours a day. The rate of pay is $25.52 per hour plus 4% holiday pay. These hours have the ability to qualify for $2.00/hour WEG (Wage Enhancement Grant) as well and CWELCC top-up.

This posting is for an already existing position which has opened up and it requires:

• Registered with the College of ECE
• Experience with young children
• Current Standard First Aid / CPR C
• Current Criminal Reference Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Proof of up to date immunizations and ability to get note from a medical practitioner indicating good health
• WHMIS, AODA, CCEYA certificates

Recommended:

• Knowledge of CCEYA and HDLH
