Job summary

PAL Aviation Services, based in St. John’s, NL, seeks a part-time Flight Service Coordinator to support customers, manage communications, and coordinate services at our St. John’s base.

The ideal candidate will bring customer service experience, teamwork, and the ability to handle fast-paced shift work. The role involves greeting clients, handling reservations, and assisting with operational duties such as paperwork, fuel slips, and passenger support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment effectively.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer phones, and transfer calls.
• Operate VHF radio to communicate with other employees.
• Arrange accommodations, transportation, catering, and services as requested.
• Operate a POS machine and process cash; write up contract services as needed.
• Handle administrative duties including data entry, filing, and updating customer files.
• Complete fuel slips and refueling paperwork; assist with security screening and passenger directions.

PAL Aviation Services is currently seeking a part-time Flight Service Coordinator to be located at our base in St. John’s, NL.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, answering phones, and transferring calls
• Operation of VHF radio to communicate with other employees
• Arranging accommodations, transportation, catering, and any other services requested
• Operating a POS machine
• Writing up contract services when necessary
• Receiving and assuming responsibility for any cash collected during a shift
• Administrative duties including data entry, processing, photocopying, filing, and updating customer information files
• Completion of fuel slips and refueling paperwork
• Security screening and briefing
• Walking passengers to aircraft
• Other related duties as assigned
