Job summary

Envisage Recruitment Limited seeks a Human Factors and Ergonomics Engineer to join the Flight Deck design team. You will influence cockpit geometry, interfaces and usability for certification programs, working with crews and HF specialists across maintenance and manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on ergonomics, strong 3D modelling skills, and effective technical communication in English; French is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus a degree in ergonomics or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in physical ergonomics (anthropometry, strength, reach, vision).
• Proficient with 3D modelling tools such as CATIA, NX, Jack or Rhinoceros.
• Interest in aerospace, aircraft systems and regulatory environment.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills; English required; French an asset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to User Centered Design activities for Flight Deck and HMI.
• Apply physical ergonomics expertise to support tests and analysis.
• Work with flight crews to assess cockpit usability.
• Support elicitation, validation and verification for flight deck interfaces.
• Carry out task analysis and human error analysis.
• Contribute to flight deck UX development and evaluation.
• Create and manage HF documentation for new aircraft and cockpit mods.
• Collaborate with HF specialists in maintenance and manufacturing.
