Job summary

Summit Air, a member of the Ledcor Group, is seeking flight attendants to join our safety-focused cabin crew. You will engage with passengers, assist with seating, serve meals, and maintain cabin cleanliness.

The role requires at least 2 years of customer service, aviation experience is a plus, ability to obtain Transport Canada security clearance, and comfort working in confined spaces and at high altitudes. Training in Calgary will be provided; 24/7 availability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
  • Flight Attendant experience is an asset but not required.
  • Must stay current and trained on relevant aircraft.
  • Able to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at high altitudes.

Responsibilities

  • Safety: Ensure passenger, crew, and aircraft safety; conduct pre-flight safety checks and monitor cabin.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Welcome and engage passengers, assist seating, serve refreshments, and maintain cabin cleanliness.
  • Reporting: Complete safety reports (e.g., SMS) and assist in ensuring on-time departure of flights.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Safety: Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft through adherence to Company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Conduct pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate safety procedures Monitor cabin for signs of distress Assist passengers during emergency situations such as evacuations or medical emergencies
  • Customer Service Excellence: Welcoming passengers and engaging with them throughout the flight to create a comfortable, friendly environment. Assisting with seating Serve food and beverages Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cabin Ensure adequate commissary stock items are available onboard for the next shift/flight
  • Reporting: Completing and submitting required safety reports. (i.e., SMS reports) Ensuring the general orderliness of the aircraft and assisting in the on-time departure of every flight operated.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Previous Flight Attendant experience an asset but not required
  • Must stay current and trained on relevant aircraft
  • Able to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces
  • Comfortable working at high altitudes in a pressurized cabin
Working Conditions
  • Initial three to four weeks training in Calgary, AB
  • 24/7 availability during the week
