Job summary

Summit Air, a member of the Ledcor Group, is seeking Flight Attendants to support Canada’s North and expand operations in Quebec. You will ensure passenger safety, deliver exceptional service, and assist in emergencies while following all regulations.

Training begins in Calgary, AB, with a schedule of three to four days per week and reserve coverage. Availability is 24/7, and candidates must be able to work at high altitudes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
  • Previous Flight Attendant experience is an asset but not required.
  • Must stay current and trained on relevant aircraft.
  • Able to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at high altitudes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety and comfort of passengers during flight.

As a Flight Attendant you are responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during their flight. Flight Attendants provide exceptional customer service, assist passengers during emergencies, and ensure all safety regulations are followed.

Summit Air, headquartered in Yellowknife, NWT, operates across Canada, specializing in passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized flight solutions for industry-leading clients with a legacy of excellence in northern and remote aviation. We’re growing our fleet in the Quebec area and are seeking experienced Flight Attendants to join our team.

As we expand our fleet in Quebec and enter new markets to support our growing client base, we are seeking local, Flight Attendants to join our team. If you are committed to safety, professionalism, and operational excellence, we want to hear from you.

Essential Responsibilities:
Safety:
  • Ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft through adherence to Company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct pre-flight safety checks and demonstrate safety procedures
  • Monitor cabin for signs of distress
  • Assist passengers during emergency situations such as evacuations or medical emergencies
Customer Service Excellence:
  • Welcoming passengers and engaging with them throughout the flight to create a comfortable, friendly environment.
  • Assisting with seating
  • Serve food and beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the cabin
  • Ensure adequate commissary stock items are available onboard for the next shift/flight
Reporting:
  • Completing and submitting required safety reports. (i.e., SMS reports)
  • Ensuring the general orderliness of the aircraft and assisting in the on-time departure of every flight operated.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Previous Flight Attendant experience an asset but not required
  • Must stay current and trained on relevant aircraft
  • Able to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces
  • Comfortable working at high altitudes in a pressurized cabin
Working Conditions:
  • Initial three to four weeks training in Calgary, AB.
  • Working three to four days a week and reserve coverage
  • 24/7 availability during the week
