Job summary

Karis Disability Services seeks a Casual Transitional Support Professional to work across Pickering, ON, including days, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts. The role offers a casual wage of $25.82 per hour and requires a Full G license with personal auto insurance.

Experience with behavior support, dual diagnosis, autism, and FASD is valued; validation via NVCI, Safe Management, and First Aid/CPR is an asset.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement of Developmental Service Worker or apprenticeship actively in process, Child and Youth Care Diploma or apprenticeship actively in process, or Diploma or Degree in a Related Human Services Field.
• Current valid G driver's license.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide call-in or back-fill support to people supported and assist with activities of daily living.
• Work with shift teams to deliver supports and services within location protocols.
• Complete administrative duties and liaise with clinical professionals as required.
