School District No. 60 (Fort St John) seeks Certified and Non-Certified Teachers Teaching On Call (TTOC) to support schools across the district. Roles are dispatched as needed, with non-certified candidates considered after certified and certificate-pending applicants.

Certified TTOCs earn on the TTOC pay scale per TQS category and experience; starting wage for Category 4 with 1 year of experience is $349.41/day. All TTOCs must have transportation to assignments.

Qualifications

• Certified candidates must hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate.
• Non-Certified TTOCs must have relevant education/background; preference for Bachelor’s Degree or post-secondary education. Grade 12 required.

Responsabilités

• TTOCs are dispatched on an as needed basis.
• Non-Certified TTOCs will not be dispatched until all Certified TTOCs and certificate-pending TTOCs are dispatched.
• Casual TTOCs must accept callouts between Sept-Jan and Jan-Jun, with defined restrictions affecting callout frequency.
• Regular TTOCs must be available and accept callouts as per their stated availability; may move to casual if unavailable.
• All TTOCs must have a valid driver’s license and/or transportation to get to all required schools.
• Order of callouts: Regular Certified, Casual Certified, Regular Cert-pending, Casual Cert-pending, Regular Non-Certified, Casual Non-Certified.
• Renewal of service required annually.
