Job summary

Randstad Canada is partnering with a Calgary-based distribution facility to hire for a hands-on warehouse role supporting launch operations. You will join an ambitious team to set up and optimize a new site, ensuring safe, efficient material handling and daily targets are met.

The role requires forklift experience and valid certification, sturdy attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full-time positions exist across Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts with steady schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and order picking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must hold active forklift certification covering Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, Sit-Down Counterbalance and Walkies.
• Immediate availability for launch and reliable attendance.

What You’ll Do

• Launch Support: Set up, organize, and optimize a new facility.
• Material Handling: Safely operate equipment to move, stack, and store inventory.
• Daily Operations: Keep work zones clean and partner with the team to hit production targets.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1-2 years in warehouse/logistics; 1+ year operating Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, and Walkies.
• Certifications: Active external licenses for Reach Truck, Dock Stocker, and Walkie.
• Requirements: Immediate availability for launch, reliable personal transport, and strong attendance.
• Mindset: Commitment to safety and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Strong basic math skills for verifying shipments, counting inventory, and checking freight labels.
• High comfort level operating heavy machinery in a busy, active warehouse environment.
• Dependable team player with good communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Forklift Experienced: Bring a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience operating forklifts in an active distribution or warehouse environment.
• Fully Licensed: Hold a valid forklift certification covering Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, Sit-Down Counterbalance (SDCB), and Walkies.
• Physically Capable - Reliable: Demonstrate strong attendance habits and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout your shift.
• Strong Communicator: Express ideas clearly and work effectively alongside teammates in a high-tempo setting.
• Commute-Ready Driver: Possess reliable personal transportation (a car) to guarantee consistent attendance, as many of our facility sites are not serviced by public transit.
