Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Flex Driver in Edmonton, Alberta for a casual, part-time role focused on flexible scheduling and on-the-road package delivery across designated routes. This is an interview position with shifts determined by business needs.

The driver will review orders before delivery, load/unload the vehicle up to 70 lbs, and deliver excellent customer service. A valid G/Class 5 licence and ability to adapt to weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Valid G/Class 5 driver's licence.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Two or fewer violations/accidents in the past 24 months.
• Bilingual (French and English) in Quebec.

Responsibilities

FedEx is hiring a Flex Driver at their Edmonton, Alberta location — a casual, part-time opportunity for those who value flexible scheduling while doing meaningful, on-the-road work. Based out of 6364 50th St NW, this role puts you behind the wheel delivering packages to customers across designated routes.

This is an interview position. The primary purpose is to ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, load/unload vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to our client base. Flexible shift opportunities with min and max hours and days of work parameters determined based on business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to predetermined customers along specific routes in a timely manner

Requirements

• Must have a valid full G licence / Class 5 driver's licence
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
• One (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment
• Driving record with two or fewer violations/accidents in the 24 months prior to application
• In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English)

Pay: $21.74 per hour. Requires weekend availability and 1–2 days throughout the week.
