Job summary

FedEx is hiring a Flex Driver in Thornhill, British Columbia. This part-time casual position focuses on delivering packages to customers on predetermined routes and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities include timely delivery, route pre-review, loading/unloading the vehicle, and providing exceptional customer service while completing required driver training and assessments. Bilingual ability is a plus in Quebec.

Qualifications

• Valid full G licence / Class 5 driver's licence.
• Driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the past 24 months.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.

• Review orders prior to delivery
• Load and unload vehicle
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Complete mandatory driver assessment training and all basic and re-currency training

Schedule:

Flexible shifts, Monday to Saturday. Can work up to 5 days per week. Must work a minimum of 4 days per month.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or educational equivalent
• Valid full G licence / Class 5 driver's licence
• Driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the past 24 months
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training

Preferred Experience:

• One (1) year of customer-oriented business experience preferred
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations an asset
