Job summary

Sunbury Transport Limited, a leader in cross-border and domestic shipments, is seeking a dedicated dispatcher/logistics coordinator in New Brunswick. You will work with drivers, owner/operators, and customers to plan loads, optimize miles, and ensure on-time delivery, while maintaining compliance with hours of service.

The role requires 2-5 years of experience in transportation, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with TMW is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 2-5 years of experience in transportation/logistics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Team oriented with a self-starter attitude.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with TMW is an asset.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service for each customer/location.
• Coordinate, confirm and dispatch all loads.
• Manage fleet productivity and hours of service by Owner/Operator and Driver.
• Oversee maintenance program.
• Enter system data accurately to assist payroll and billing.
• Handle issues raised by Owner/Operators and drivers.
• Manage availability of Owner/Operators and equipment to maximize utilization.
• Promote and support safety initiatives.
