Job summary

Element Fleet Management is seeking a Finance Operations Supervisor – Fleet in Toronto to lead a team of associates and analysts. You will oversee capitalization, payments, tax and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance across vehicle acquisitions and related processes.

The role emphasizes coaching, workload management, and continuous process improvements, with collaboration across Purchasing, Tax, IT, and client-facing teams. Strong Excel and ERP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in Finance Operations or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, vendor payments, taxation and controls.
• Experience leading operational teams in high-volume environments.
• Advanced Excel and metrics/SLAs management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Associates and Analysts with performance reviews and development.
• Oversee daily operations: workload balancing, queue management, SLA attainment.
• Provide oversight of billing, taxation, capitalization, payment, registration, and reconciliation.
• Drive process improvements, SOP updates, and system testing.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support initiatives.
• Serve as escalation point for complex operational issues.
