Job summary

The City of Thunder Bay is seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Aide to perform cleaning and basic upkeep of the fleet, with regular sanitizing of stations and calibration of equipment. You will restock supplies, handle light vehicle maintenance, and assist with warehouse duties as part of a team serving the EMS/municipal fleet.

Requirements include a Grade 12 education, valid G driver's license, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Secondary school completion required.
• Experience in warehouse, custodial duties or EMS setting is an asset.
• Ability to operate basic vehicle maintenance tasks and cleaning routines.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and maintain stations and fleet equipment daily.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning and basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Restock supplies and manage stock at stations and fleet.
• Complete required documentation and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with movement of vehicles and deliveries to district stations.
• Maintain CO2 and oxygen monitoring equipment as required.
