Job summary

E.S. Fox Limited in Niagara Falls, ON is seeking a Fleet and Equipment Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, service, and repairs on our fleet equipment.

You will report to the Fleet Mechanic Foreman and help keep aerial work platforms, forklifts, and other heavy machinery safe and productive. The ideal candidate has five years of experience in construction equipment repairs, owns their own tools, and can troubleshoot issues with computerized systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in construction equipment repairs.
• Clean drivers abstract and criminal record check.
• Must have own set of tools.
• License (421A) or equivalent is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain aerial work platforms, forklifts, and various other construction equipment to ensure proper performance.
• Diagnose malfunctions or faults with computerized equipment and determine extent of repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement as required.
• Review and complete work orders.
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Our office in Niagara Falls, ON is looking for a Fleet and Equipment Mechanic to join our team.

Summary of the Role

Reporting to the Fleet Mechanic Foreman, the Fleet and Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, service, and repairs on all E.S. Fox Fleet equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Check and maintain aerial work platforms, forklifts, and various other construction equipment to ensure proper performance.
• Diagnose malfunctions or faults with computerized equipment and determine extent of repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement as required.
• Review and complete work orders.
• Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Requirements, Experience And Skills

• A license such as a 421A - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician would be an asset.
• Completion of formal training at a recognized Equipment manufacturer (Ex. JLG, JCB) would be an asset.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction equipment repairs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose repairs.

Other Requirements

• Must have their own set of tools.
• Working at Heights and Elevated work platform training.
