Job summary

Mark Anthony Group, a leading beverage company, is seeking a Beverage Technologist in Vancouver to join the Product Development Department. You will manage samples, develop lab formulas, conduct sensory evaluations, and support QA and operations in product testing and development.

The role emphasizes a passion for food science, nutrition, and chemistry, with opportunities to collaborate with flavor houses and suppliers in a dynamic, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or related field.
• Beverage product development, sensory evaluation and testing knowledge is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for samples management, preparation, and shipping documents.
• Communicate with external teams about sample status and project tasks.
• Prepare lab formulas and specifications for new or revised products.
• Work with QA to determine product specifications and stability testing.
• Assist QA and Operations with technical support and pilot runs.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and organize taste panels.
• Work on shelf-life extension and ingredient review.
• Assist PD team with experiment design and research.
• Collaborate with flavor houses and ingredient suppliers.
