Job summary

Artemis Gold Inc. is seeking a Fixed Plant Mechanical Superintendent for the Blackwater Mine site in central British Columbia.

You will lead maintenance activities across the processing facility, driving reliability and production targets while managing a team of supervisors, trades, and contractors on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation. The role requires deep experience in mining maintenance, strong leadership, and expertise with CMMS platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within mining or heavy industry.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams, shutdowns, and reliability-focused programs.
• Strong knowledge of asset management and CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo or Pronto.
• Ability to lead in a remote camp, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe, reliable, and cost-effective execution of fixed plant mechanical maintenance activities.
• Drive plant availability and performance through maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, tradespeople, and contractors with a strong safety culture.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, perform root cause investigations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and safety teams to meet targets.
