MNP Community & Sport Centre in Calgary is seeking a Manager of Fitness & Training to oversee the operations and staff of the Fitness Centre, Group Fitness, Personal Training and Registered Programs.

You will report to the Director of Fitness, Training & Children’s Programs and lead a team of Coordinators, Fitness Centre Staff, Instructors and Trainers to deliver high‑quality programs, coach performance, manage payroll, and ensure safety and exceptional customer service.

Formación

• Completed post-secondary education with preference given to Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Sport Administration or Sport Management.
• Masters-level education is an asset.
• Strong leadership and people management skills are essential.
• Experience with budgeting techniques and fiscal management is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide effective leadership with a focus on motivating staff and managing payroll and performance.
• Lead by example, coach, train, and develop a successful team to meet goals.
• Coordinate work activities, schedule assignments, and delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and manage emergencies as needed.
• Attend leadership training and participate in departmental meetings.
