Job summary

The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is seeking a Manager, Fire and Emergency Services to provide strategic leadership for fire protection and emergency management across the Sunshine Coast. Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma required, with preference to a degree in public/admin, fire services, emergency management or related field.
• Seven or more years of progressively senior related work experience, preferably with some in local or regional government.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and customer-focused approach to service delivery.

• Provide collaborative leadership and strategic/advisory guidance to the organization.
• Lead Fire and Emergency Services through a customer-focused lens and strategic initiatives.
