Description

Fire and Life Safety Service Technician

The Role

Troubleshoot and repair of a wide variety of fire and life safety systems, including fire panels, intrusion systems, emergency lighting and intercoms

Perform inspections of systems and upgrades with accuracy to meet client needs and expectations

Uphold company and industry standards for quality and within recognized guidelines

Resolve client concerns and provide exceptional client service, making recommendations where appropriate to ensure optimal system function

Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes and inventory

Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts, in attics and crawl spaces, as well as to lift 50+ lbs

Able to work safely in a construction site environment is a must

Qualifications

Ability to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment is required

Work with high degree of accuracy and thoroughness

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Motivated self-starter and effective team player

Must have a clean criminal record, and a valid Driver's license

Experience in the fire industry or relevant education considered an asset

This a full-time permanent position with a very attractive compensation package including benefits, pension matching, and other employee incentives. Positions are being filled in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
