Johnson Controls Canada is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to perform assisted installation, commissioning, and verification on fire alarm equipment, including device connections and circuits. You will read blueprints and specifications, prepare verification reports for customers, conduct system acceptance tests with AHJs, and produce as-built drawings on project completion.
Travel within British Columbia and the Yukon may be required.

Required
Completion of a college diploma in Fire Protection, an Electrical/Electronics Technician program, an Electrical Apprenticeship, a related field, or equivalent work experience. Candidates currently pursuing these qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $26-34 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.)
