We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician in the Woodstock, ON area to join our team. This role supports and services customers in the Cambridge, ON area. Earn competitive Toronto city wages while enjoying the scenic lifestyle of Mid-Western Ontario!

Responsibilities

1. Assist with maintenance, inspections, and repairs of fire alarm, fire extinguisher, emergency lighting, and other life safety systems.
2. Ensure high standards of system reliability and customer satisfaction.
3. Perform verifications on fire alarm systems.
4. Complete work orders and reports promptly.
5. Be on-call for emergency service calls.
6. Act as a liaison between customers and Troy.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Two years of community college in electronics or equivalent training/experience.
2. At least 2 years of experience in fire alarm systems.
3. Experience with fire alarm, extinguisher, and emergency lighting inspections.
4. Troubleshooting and service experience is an asset.
5. Proficient in computer use.
6. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
7. Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
8. Knowledge of applicable ULC, CSA, and Canadian electrical codes and standards.
