Job summary

Sterling Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems. You will be the client’s technical lead on-site, ensuring safety standards and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include inspecting various fire alarm systems, traveling in and around Edmonton, and performing repairs to keep systems operational. On-call rotation and professional appearance are expected.

Qualifications

Journeyperson Electrician with CFAA license, or working toward CFAA license.
Technician with CFAA license, or working toward CFAA license.
Certification in Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Monitoring or related field may apply.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections on Fire Alarm and related systems and ensure operability.
Travel around Edmonton and occasionally across Alberta to complete inspections.
Repair systems and perform maintenance to maintain peak performance and code compliance.
Prepare organized reports for completed inspections, repairs or maintenance onsite when possible.
Complete scheduled appointments with clear and concise comments for the team.
