Job summary

Berkeley Payments is seeking a product manager to own a defined area of our payments platform. You will drive discovery and delivery, framing problems, and building solutions from concept to launch and beyond.

You will work with senior leadership and engineering, translating business goals and compliance constraints into clear, prioritized plans and crisp specifications for engineering and client-facing teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience in B2B or fintech.
• Proven track record shipping features tied to business metrics.
• Strong product discovery and problem framing skills.
• Excellent written communication for engineers, managers, and clients.
• Comfort with APIs, data, and system constraints.
• Autonomy in changing priorities with incomplete information.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and delivery for a defined product area in partnership with leadership.
• Lead product discovery: talk to clients and stakeholders, validate problems.
• Write clear product requirements, acceptance criteria, and decisions.
• Prioritize tradeoffs between scope, time, risk, and value.
• Collaborate with engineering and design from ideation through launch.
• Define and instrument metrics to assess feature success.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across teams and clients.
• Treat regulatory and compliance landscape as core requirements.
