Job summary
Zynga is seeking a Senior FinOps Engineer to lead the FinOps team in Toronto, guiding cost optimization across AWS, data tooling, and vendor software for our mobile games. You will mentor software and cloud engineers, design data pipelines, and partner with product, engineering, and finance to drive cost efficiency.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive CAD salary range from CAD 156,140 to CAD 206,140 per year, with potential bonuses and equity awards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure (AWS) experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience (Python preferred).
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-team projects.
- Strong ability to design data pipelines and SQL data models.
- Experience with IaC and CI pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the FinOps team and mentor engineers.
- Identify and implement cloud cost-saving opportunities.
- Design FinOps tooling including data pipelines and dashboards.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and finance to prioritize cost initiatives.
- Analyze data using SQL and Tableau-like tools.
