Select Finishing in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a General Labour to handle, identify, and inspect parts within the paint-finishing process, focusing on loading, unloading, and inspection to uphold quality standards.

The role involves following daily schedules, packing finished products, and assisting with rework as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic manufacturing understanding, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify and rack parts as per the daily schedule.
• Load and unload parts from the line, ensuring adherence to instructions.
• Perform inspections for obvious defects on raw and reworked parts.
• Plug, mask, or prepare parts following specified guidelines.
• Remove excess water post-pretreatment, if required.
• Pack finished products per packaging instructions.
• Segregate non-conforming material and assist with rework as needed.
