Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. in Canada is seeking an experienced Finish Grader Operator for civil earthworks on the NXE Rook 1 Project. You will operate Cat 14M/16M graders with GPS control to achieve precise elevations and grades.

Safety, quality, and efficiency are priorities as you read plans, interpret grade models, and work with survey crews. Camp accommodations and a remote northern Saskatchewan location support a 14 on/7 off rotation, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating finish graders on civil construction or site development projects.
• Experience using GPS grade control systems (Topcon, Trimble, Leica, or equivalent).
• Experience performing fine grading for parking lots, roads, or similar projects.
• Ability to read grade plans, blueprints, and site layouts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing completed successfully.
• CSTS 2020 certification and ground disturbance Level 2 are required.
• Pre-access drug testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate Cat 14M and 16M graders to meet targets.
• Use GPS grade control to achieve accurate grades and elevations per design.
• Perform fine grading for parking lots, roadways, drainage, and site development.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and daily safety assessments.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Interpret plans and grade models to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crews.
• Uphold safety culture and compliance with safety requirements.
