Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finish Grader Operator to support civil earthworks on the NXE Rook 1 Project in northern Saskatchewan. You will operate graders with GPS machine control to achieve precise grades and elevations per design specifications.

A strong safety mindset, the ability to read grade plans, and a track record of independent work are essential. Camp accommodations, travel support, and a comprehensive benefits package through CLAC are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating finish graders on civil projects.
• Experience using GPS grade control systems (Topcon, Trimble, Leica).
• Experience fine grading for parking lots, roads, or similar projects.
• Ability to read grade plans, blueprints, and site layouts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Valid CSTS 2020 certification required.
• Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification.
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate Cat 14M/16M graders safely to meet production and quality targets.
• Use GPS grade control to meet design elevations.
• Perform fine grading for parking lots, roads, drainage, and site development.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and daily Field Level Hazard Assessments.
• Maintain heavy equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Interpret grade plans and digital grade models for accuracy.
• Communicate with supervisors, survey crews, and team members.
• Promote safety compliance with all requirements.
